Blogging 101: How To Properly Create Your First Blog

When Starting a Blog:

Starting out, you have to know what it is that you want to blog about.People often are influenced when they see some bloggers are making '10,000 dollars a month' and that urges them to make a blog.A few months go by and your dream of blogging is decreasing because you are not making any money...Let me explain.

*Reading what sounds good may not always be true. Some bloggers have a way at putting information to make it seem like blogging is so easy when in reality; the most successful bloggers had to go through a lot before they got to where they are today.

I am going to make it easier on you by giving you all that I know about creating a blog.I will inform you about Profiting from your blog also so with that being said; Let's Begin!

Find your Niche:

When seriously wanting to start a blog, you have to find something that you can write about for months.Let's take 'Blogging tips for beginners' as an example.

I can write post entries for months about blogging tips and that makes 'Blogging tips for beginners' my niche.

I have researched, bookmarked, and wrote about so many ways to help beginner bloggers that I have gained knowledge about blogging to the point that I can make a blog and share what I have learned.

If you are into gaming, gardening, how-to's, giving advice, poetry, photography (etc), do research on that topic and that'll put your blog in a category for readers.
Ask Yourself:
* What can you bring to the table that makes you enjoyable, different and unique?
* What do you have expertise in that will intrigue readers?
* Are you friendly?
*Is your content enjoyable?

Choosing a Free Host for your Blog:

When you decide to choose a Free host for your blog, make sure that you read over the guidelines because if you do something that is prohibited, your blog has the potential of being deleted and all of your hard work will be lost.

Free Blogging Services:

*Blogger.com
*Wordpress.com
*Typepad.com
*Xanga.com
*Livejournal.com

I recommend that you choose Blogger.com because is the only Publishing Service that allows you to host ads for free and they do not want 250,000+ readers to your blog in order for you to be able to host ads for free.

When Choosing your Blogs Name:

You want to make sure that your name is creative and something easy to remember. You do not want to go with a name that has nothing to do with your niche. For example, If you are into Gaming you'd want something like 'My Best Gaming Reviews'.It's informing your reader what your blog is about and it sounds interesting for people looking for game reviews.

Promoting Your Blog:

Once you have created and named your blog; you can start posting. You have to make sure that somewhere on your blog, readers can learn more about you and know exactly what your blog is going to be about.Having done that, you are now ready to start promoting! (Make sure you have at least 4 post entries up on your blog before you decide to promote it)

I recommend that you check out the following tools to get your blog some viewers for free to take some stress of promoting off your back.
